THE MUSLIM VIEWPOINTS

These two vedeos are a must see!

http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=exvlatXpCnI - Here Siyasat aur Pakistan exposes "The Mumbai Fraud" and it is not funny...
http://www.hotklix.com/?ref=content/152704 Another Pak News channel claims Indians are more corrupt than they appear to be ...

I must say they made me sit up and re-evaluate the situation from a different prespective. There are loopholes galore in the facts presented before the citizens of India. And we haven't yet got a satisfactory explanation as to how, despite an active intelligence system, this carnage could not be pre-empted - And why our top brass handled it so unprofessionally. Is it possible that India orchestrated the whole thing (like it is presumed today that USA did the 9/11). Is it possible our so called martyrs are pawns of bigger politics?

If it is so, we have no time to waste anymore. Presuming my Paki counterparts are equal victims of politics, we must come and join hands to unearth and expose this terrible nexus between the underworld/politics/black money. The hapless aam janta anywhere in the world, have no idea what is happening behind the curtains today, which is so scary. We need to know for sure now if we are hostage of our own politics. How on earth otherwise did Pak get away with such a vile act when we keep claiming our intelligence is superior to theirs ? Why did three of our best police officers die such a unbelievable death, in the wake of exposing the truth behind the Malegaon blasts? We need to know some facts before we decide what our next step should be.

Meanwhile my moderate Muslim brothers have been speaking their mind out

http://www.dawn.com/weekly/mazdak/mazdak.htm
Aijaz Zaka Syed writes "how many innocents have to die in the name of Islam before Muslim leaders and countries take effective action to deal with the nuts, who are out to destroy us all with their nihilistic cult?"

http://www.khaleejtimes.com/DisplayArticle.asp?xfile=data/opinion/2008/November/opinion_November122.xml&section=opinion&col= Irfan Hussain faces the truth and writes, "The world is naturally concerned about the danger posed by these terror groups to other countries. However, the biggest threat they pose is to Pakistan itself. Until Pakistanis grasp this brutal reality and muster up the resolve necessary to crush them, these killers will tear the country apart."

HEROES THEY ARE - DEAD OR ALIVE!!!

Please click on the link above for the entire article on how for an ordinary jawan, whose everyday life, (riddled with hard training and little time for family), is not just tough but gruelling.

It is wonderful to get recognised for your selfless services, but public memory is short lived!
No matter how much they eulogise the efforts of these men today, for saving their precious lives, (in this moment of deep crisis) everything will be forgotten after a week long peaceful sleep.

And so those long gruelling hours of training, away from public eyes, (which are really boring facts to document), will remain untold and the heroism of these men off battlefield remain unsung.

The above article is my tribute to all my soldier brothers , dead or alive - I also wish to take this opportunity to pay my deepest respect to the staff of Taj, Oberoi and others and the general public ( in the VT station/the Leopold Cafe, the roads) who showed great courage in this extraordinary moment of crisis. Heroes you all are , never doubt for a moment !

WHERE DO WE BEGIN?

Sixty hours of palpitating, anguished moments, 3600 mins of gruelling fire fighting, 216000 seconds of TV bytes capturing and flashing the gruesome pictures of a pluralist democracy lying victimised, accursed and crushed ...

And finally it is time to garland the heroes and hail the martyrs but most importantly, after hours of " high level meeting" it is time to dole out inane platitudes like "We must fight terrorism " - In a face saving mission ministers sacked , and finger pointing kept alive with "fresh invesatigations" to validate/justify or condone inappropriate actions.

Arn't we sick and tired of this nonesense ? I am not a visionary, I am follower. And so I want someone to tell me what I should DO, rather than rant and rave and cry. My heart is bursting. I want to DO more than wear black or white and burn candles. I want to DO more than just write my piece or keep reading what others have written. I am afraid otherwise, before this week is over, we will forget this fire in our belly, that is stoking us to come alive to the painful choices (or lack of it) to live meaningfully. I am scared we will once again accept our fate and live in that world of inane platitudes..." We must fight terrorism" .

So finally we will decentralise the NSG - I had heard it when Akshardham happened and my husband was commanding the BLACK CATS - 4 nodal points is it , and 500 more commandoes and a dedicated aircaft for them? ... I cant help but feel sorry for the limited vision of our leaders.

Can't they see that despite our best attempts world wide, terrorism is building up ( as is our apathy) gradually - the black tornado will only gain momentum and ferocity with every passing day... The maginitude of a future calamity, as i see it, will be far , far bigger than 4 NSGs to contain it. We are sitting on atime bomb can't we see it?

We need to get rid of our smug existence of saving for a rainy day. We need to live like soldiers herefater and be ready for a war instead. We, each one of us need to be trained in urban warfare tactics ( whatever that is). Instead of sending our children for their tutions while we catch on our favourite serial start training ourselves and our children to face a deadlier and more brutal attack than this - (perhaps a chemical warfare?) - something that is going to wipe away not a few hundreds next time but millions in a whiff.

Please someone tell me where do we start to prepare ourselves to DO and DIE A HERO'S DEATH ?

India is Jihad's Disneyland

This article by Ashok Malik is a profound commentary on how and India is today an easy target for all jihadi action. "It is futile to look for the one controller or perpetrator of Indian jihad. In reality, there are several layers. The Indian Mujahideen uses commonly available chemicals to engineer low-tech bombs. The Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami and its affiliates use Bangladesh as a base and India's east and North-East as a workplace. The Lashkar-e-Tayyeba seems to take direct operational charge of sophisticated missions — such as the Mumbai train bombings of July 2006 and, maybe, the November 26-28 barbarism as well." Read the whole article. It is a fascinating analysis.

Terrorism and India's bungled crisis management

Amidst the disastrous terrorist attack that took Mumbai, the commercial hub of India hostage to fear and uncertainty in one of its worst encounters ever, one big question that looms large is have we learnt our lessons yet? Did we compromise on our security issues due to a lack of professional approach to crisis management?

I would appreciate your comments on this. Pls click on the above link to read the whole story and leave your comments here.
